Iraq violence continues

Today, September 15, 2005 - 24 policemen were killed in Baghdad as their transport truck was hit by suicide bomber, this follows yesterday's string of similar attacks killing over a hundred people - it does raises several questions in regards to how can this situation come to some kind of a closure for Iraqi people. As it is evident most of these attacks, as of recently, are perpetrated by the foreign Islamic fighters - whose only goal is creation of complete anarchy, and murderous hate of all non-Muslims and their Muslim collaborators as taught by ultra-radical Salafi Islam - widely popular in Iran, and Syria - nations which, non-coincidentally, happen to the source from where all these foreign fighters arrive. There is, therefore, no doubt in my mind that Iraq needs to focus on border security, rather than dealing with the current remnants of Ba'ath party loyalists (remember Saddam's fearless republican guard that "mysteriously" vanished during storm of Baghdad) and other internal terrorist cells - which, undoubtedly, are also an issue. But more importantly - get rid of Saddam - sooner, the better, put an end to this tragic chapter in Iraqi history - to finish what was started.
