Libby Indictment - Another Futile Liberal Assault on White House

OCTOBER 28, Washigton - Vice President Dick Cheney's top aide was indicted today on perjury, false statement, and obstruction of justice charges in connection with a special counsel's probe into the leaking of a CIA officer's identity. A copy of the five-count felony indictment returned against I. Lewis "Scooter" Libby, Cheney's chief of staff, can be found below. The 55-year-old Libby, a White House power and proponent of the Iraq war, allegedly committed the crimes when questioned by Special Counsel Patrick Fitzgerald before a federal grand jury. During two appearances under oath, Libby was questioned extensively about his contact with several reporters prior to published disclosures about Valerie Plame Wilson, the CIA operative. While not charged today, Karl Rove, President George W. Bush's chief political adviser, remains under scrutiny by Fitzgerald, who reportedly plans to continue his probe of the 2003 leak (the original grand jury panel's term expired today). Libby, who is expected to resign his White House post as a result of the criminal charges, which were handed up in U.S. District Court in Washington.

Do you, truth seeker, also begin to see the pattern in all this? It's a second indictment this month against one of the Bush's closest allies on minor charges again (first one being against Tom Delay on campaign funding laws obstruction, wrongfully labeled money laundering) - once again - the left is already alluding to Bush "throwing his men to the lions to save himself" - but FROM WHAT I ASK YOU LIBERALS? NONE of these charges are in ANY way connected to providing what left refers to as "false intelligence" just before Iraq campaign in the war against Islamic terrorism or any other national affairs. This is a political intrigue initiated and promulgated by a handful of liberal senators, spearheaded by the left wing activist judge Patrick Fitzgerald who is out on some kind of personal vendetta against the Republicans. In a bigger picture, contrary to what many left-wing pundits begin to put forth, there is no signs of weakening of Bush's White House, and all these so-called "independent" pollsters preaching low approval ratings for the president are nothing but disingenuous left-wing partisan hacks looking for a good ol' Clintonoid days. But I bet New York Times in a typical liberal rag, that it is, fashion will be foaming at the mouth over this tomorrow. Fine, let the justice be served for those obstructing it - but remember, liberals, Lady Justice blindfolds should never be skewed by anyone, not even a divulged liberal activist judge on a special committee.

Yes I do see the pattern, I think Ray Charles could see it also.

Gunt, that is dog shit on your shoe. You can spray perfume on it, rub your finger in it, explain it away as best you can. But the bottom line is it is still....dog shit on your shoe.
